I dont know if anyone previous has mentioned this but if you are using AirPlay and your iPhone or iPad goes into sleep mode the video stops. They need to allow background refresh on the app so even when the screen goes into sleep mode the video continues.

Wouldnt you make sure your app works before you launch it ?

I am finally giving up on this app! Literally crashes every single time I try to open it, and then when I re-open, re-enter my cable subscription, etc, and finally try to actually use the app for its sole purpose of watching TGC live, it doesnt work!!! Terrible!!! Save yourself the grief -- delete this app and download NBC Sports instead. A MILLION times better!

Id be fine paying a couple of bucks to watch more than a minute or two of actual golf followed by the same ads on repeat.

Use it. Allow me to mute your selection of music, or show ads. Use your app. See how many times it crashes on you. "Bad connection" error raised must be a default module some lazy Dev added.

The app is by default 4 stars, simply because I can pull up my favorite channel whenever I want. It doesnt get 5 stars because there is no Chormecast feature. Please, please add this in the next update.

To echo other reviewers this app crashes frequently and the ability to consistently AirPlay is absolutely awful. The potential exists to be a fantastic App, but not sure exactly why these issues cannot be fixed. Also every time it reboots we have to see the same commercials again. Cmon Man!

If you like staring at a black screen with a Golf Channel logo, a PGATour logo, and the words "COVERAGE WILL RESUME SHORTLY", then this is the app for you.

My only issue is that EVERY time I go to watch something I have to login with my provider again. It used to save my info, but somewhere along the line it stopped happening

Left it on my desk at work while I stepped away and got two data usage updates. Roughly 1 gig of data used over a 35 minute span. Might be better to reduce quality over cell data and bump it up with wifi. Overall it works for me, just a data hog.

The app seems to work great on my phone, but on Apple TV only allows a couple minutes of live tv viewing before kicking you back to the app home screen. I just noticed that the most recent app version update happened in April of 2015. Clearly NBC isnt investing much in this app. Hoping they have something better on the horizon.

Terrible app. Doesnt work when I try and watch live coverage. Keeps crashing.

App is kind of useless as any AirPlay breaks it after 3-min. Requires multiple restarts as a result.

This app used to be decent. Now Im asked to sign in with my cable credentials every time I want to use the app.

Helps me out when my wife is watching HGTV. I would like to be able to stream This channel without needing a tv account. Seems like there are more ads than when I am watching on tv. Also would like to watch full screen without always having ads at the bottom.
