Golf Live Extra App Reviews

I feel the same way as previous 1 star reviewers feel - minimal coverage and painfully redundant commercials. The actual live golf regularly and mysteriously just crashes out of the blue but the ads and commercials play over and over without a hiccup ... And then they do it again !!! I surrender !!!

Like to watch golf where ever I am, inside or outside. This app makes it easier, quality is good. Could have been even better without to many breaks for advertising....

For several years I couldnt get the golf channel thru my provider. This was a an awesome alternative. Not knowing any better, the commercials seemed long but assumed they matched the television coverage. I now have the golf channel so I compared the coverage side by side. I watched while the TV coverage went back to a press conference while the app had 9, count them 9, extra commercials!! They repeated a full set of commercials that should never have played because coverage had started again. That IS absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Missed almost 5 minutes of actual coverage!

Downloaded on the first day of the Ryder Cup. Nothing but a blank screen. Dont design an app if it cant handle the load of viewers who might want to actually watch golf.

Crashes, not able to see the Ryder Cup, slow and obsolete.

I pick a live feed, the app plays two commercials then one of three things happen: it tells me I have a bad connection, shows a spinning buffering wheel that never loads anything, or displays "coverage will resume shortly" forever. Does. Not. Work.

Currently fails to validate COX accounts, so it is unusable. Produces a 404 error when entering COX credentials.

This was the first app I put on my iphone years ago. It has been my savior but recently it started looping and freezing from one section and access is being denied in the other section. I really wish it would be corrected:/ Please fix this app!!!

Im a fan of golf, both men and ladies tour. This app allows me to watch both tours, at my convenience. For some reason, it keep crashing on iPad. No problem when viewed on iPhone. Hope this issue can be address. Thank you.

This app needs work. It crashes repeatedly which makes it impossible to watch the 12 minutes of commercials and 3 minutes of actual golf in every quarter of an hour.

This app lets me watch matches on Thursday and Friday which would otherwise not have access to. I didnt expect anything else from a "free" app.

Not surprised but my cable service provider is unavailable, no Canadian providers. Bright side app says they are working on adding more providers and include a survey on who you are with. So with any hope this app will not remain useless to any one in Canada that loves golf....

As usual Canada (and the rest of the world) is ignored. Why not just stream from the web site?

Ill add my disappointment. Im an avid golfer who watches Golf Channel ALL THE TIME!!! This app is basically useless up here in Canada. Too bad! :-(

Im a seasonal USA resident and I have a comcast account. However, when Im in Canada, I cant have access to live Golf Channel Tv, even though Im a canadian Golf Channel subsciver. If this IP problem is not solved in future updates, this app is useless outside the USA.

Why would they not make this available in Canada. We like golf to, this problem needs to be fixed.

Agree with the other comment. Useless here in Canada. Need to have Bell and Rogers subscribers available.
